The eBooks on EBSCOhost collection (formerly NetLibrary) includes the searchable full text of over 6,000 downloadable online books and it will continue to grow. This collection was purchased by the Wisconsin Public Library Consortium.

Help with Login Problems

• Verify that you can access databases through the SCLS Online Resources page. You can have access if:
  
  
  • You have a valid library card from any SCLS member public library.
    
    
• Check to make sure that your personal firewall or security software is not interfering with access to eBooks on EBSCOhost. See Configuring your firewall for more information.
  
  
• Check your browser to make sure you meet the minimum browser requirements for eBooks on EBSCOhost:
  • Internet Explorer 7.0, Firefox 3.0, and Safari 3.0 (for Macintosh).
  • You must also have Adobe Reader® installed to view the PDF Full Text files. Adobe Acrobat Reader version 8.2 or later is recommended.
  • If you are using Visual Search, you must also install Adobe ® Flash Player 8.0 or higher.
  • In order to download and read eBooks offline, Adobe Digital Editions (v 1.7.1 or higher) must be installed on your computer.
    
    
• If you still cannot access eBooks on EBSCOhost, contact your local public library for assistance.
